Arts and Crafts
Three-bedroom, two-bath home with convertible couch. Five beds 2 Queen, 1 Full, 1 Twin, Full futon couch. This house sleeps eight people.

The Arts-and-Crafts period was born as an artists' protest to the Industrial Revolution and Victorian pomp. The invention of the steam engine prompted the transition from an economy and culture built on the cottage industry of village artisans, to the migration of men, women, and children to an urban lifestyle of factory work. The impressionist artists of the time like Manet, Monet and Renoir, as well as other true artisans, sought to stem the tide from country living to the smoke-stack-filled cities by creating visual reminders of a simpler time, when nature and hand-crafted decor and architecture depicted home, as this house does.
